Just hanging out with Michelle on my third 4am (or earlier) wake up of the week. I’m proud of myself for getting off the couch and getting here!! 🧗🏻‍♀️Life has been swirling past with an uptick in pace these past few weeks. For me, these upticks are always accompanied with varying levels of anxiety, sadness, numbness, and anger that intermingle without any predictability. 🤯I get lost in it all- every damn time. 🤦🏻‍♀️Instead of using my trusted accomplices of prayer, 🙏🏻writing, reading, and exercising to avoid the chaos I end up moving distractedly from place to place without fully experiencing much. A familiar place. A place where I think about my tribe often but never seem to connect with them. A place where I draft thoughtful cards 💌 that never get written and gather items for loving care packages 📦 that don’t get sent📭. A place void of the magic. ✨A place I don’t belong. A place I am leaving behind knowing I will most likely visit again. 🤷‍♀️Nonetheless, it’s a place I will not allow to define my journey. 💃So today I start again. It’s not a Monday or a new month or any special day to begin again. It’s just a Thursday that I am choosing to take care of myself so I can find my way back to the magic. ✨🦋✨Yoga here I come! 🧘🏻‍♀️

My loving advice to you is to take time right now to let the people you love know exactly what they mean to you. If someone you love has brought you pain, be sure they understand how and why you’re hurt. If you’ve made mistakes, own them, and humbly ask for forgiveness. Cherish the light and love brought into your life by others. It is where the magic comes from. 💞Say what you need to say💞even when your hands are shaking💞especially when your heart is broken💞you have to say it all with your heart wide open💞 Abigail, I will forever cherish the magic of your soul.
